1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
Cialis (tadalafil) can affect the impact of intercostal micro-dose delivery ( Ex. to a carton with tadalafil inside; Ex. with tadalafil inside; and Ex. with a tadalafil carton outside) on blood pressure. This can result in dizziness, lightheadedness, or fainting in sensitive individuals. In some cases, this may necessitate spacing tadalafil and alcohol on the same dose.
Cialis (tadalafil) can enhance the blood pressure-lowering effects of the medications, potentially altering their effectiveness or increasing the risk of dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. If used with cardiovascular support, Cialis can improve heart rate control, while decreasing dizziness.
Use Cialis as prescribed by your doctor or as you want it to be used as directed. You may take it with or without food. However, it may take a few days to get your full benefit. Do not take more than the recommended dose or dose the same way as the medication. Do not take it more often than directed.
To treat erectile dysfunction, Cialis must be taken at least 4 hours apart in order to start to work. Cialis may help increase natural erectile function. It may not work as well if you have low blood pressure or other medical conditions that may be causing your erection problems. If it doesn't work, it may be due to an underlying condition called benign prostatic hyperplasia. Tell your doctor if you have benign prostatic hyperplasia and if you are taking any other medicines for erectile dysfunction.
Do not take Cialis if you are taking or have recently taken riociguat (Adempas) or nitrates (medications for chest pain) such as isosorbide dinitrate (Isordil), isosorbide mononitrate (Monoket), and nitroglycerin (Minitran, Nitro-Dur, Nitromist, Nitrostat, others). Nitrates come as tablets, sublingual (under the tongue) tablets, sprays, patches, pastes, and ointments. Ask your doctor if you are not sure if any of your medicines are available to you in a sublingual form.
Cialis may also be used to help lower high blood pressure (hypertension) and to treat angina (chest pain).
It may be taken with or without food.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.
It is not recommended to push back or unplug your original medication unless told to do so by your doctor. If you are uncomfortable pushing back or unpluging your original medication, take the time to get back to the pharmacy to get back to the original manufacturer's mark.

Tadalafil 20 mg / Cialis 20 mg
Tadalafil 20 mg / Cialis 20 mg is a prescription medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis, allowing an erection to occur at any time during the day. It is also used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), as this is the part of this medicine called the drug that causes pulmonary arterial hypertension. Cialis contains the active ingredient Tadalafil. This ingredient helps to treat sexual arousal problems (e.g., difficulty in getting and keeping an erection) and is sometimes used as a treatment for andrology (UUT) (e.g., for pain and urinary incontinence) by men. Cialis belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. It works by helping to relax the blood vessels in the penis, allowing an erection to occur.
Tadalafil 20 mg / Cialis 20 mg is also used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH, high blood pressure in the arteries supplying the lungs).
Tadalafil and sildenafil are both PDE5 inhibitors. Tadalafil does more to relax the blood vessels that supply the lungs, including the heart (the heart disease associated heart attack), and has been shown to help with these needs. Tadalafil 20 mg inhibits the enzyme PDE5, while sildenafil has more affinity for the blood vessel wall, providing more blood flow to the heart muscle. This allows Cialis to work better when taken in the morning than when taken in the evening. There is some evidence that taking Cialis may increase the risk of stroke and heart attack in people who are already at high risk. Taking Cialis with a high-fat meal may also reduce the risk of developing heart attack and stroke. Cialis 20 mg inhibits the activity of another enzyme in the body, known as PDE6, which is known to inactivate the PDE6 enzyme. This could in theory inactivate other ED medications such as sildenafil (e.g., Viagra), tadalafil (e.g., Cialis), and vardenafil (e.g., Levitra). If you take Cialis 20 mg / Cialis (Tadalafil 20 mg), it is more likely than not that you may experience ED (e.g., impotence) and BPH (e.g., heart failure).
So, in conclusion, while Tadalafil 20 mg / Cialis (Tadalafil 20 mg) is useful for treating ED and BPH (e.g., erectile dysfunction) it is not a treatment for this class of conditions and it may not be a good choice for other classes of conditions as well. Instead, it is a prescription medicine that is usually used for PAH by men with both PAH and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH,).
For the best results take the tablets approximately one hour before sexual activity. If you are unable to get or maintain an erection, you may take a nitrate drug to relax the blood vessels that supply the lungs. This can then then cause an attack of pulmonary hemorrhage (PAH,).
A heart-healthy man should also be aware of the fact that both Viagra and Cialis are PDE5 inhibitors. So, while taking a PDE5 inhibitor may seem like a safe approach, it is important to be aware of the potential side effects. The next step is to discuss with your doctor if daily sexual activity is an option for you.
The Cialis 20 mg / Cialis (Tadalafil 20 mg) tablets come in a variety of different strengths, including 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg.
